Below is an overview of the contents of the Hager Group’s Trainee Programme. The fields of application vary depending on the company’s requirements and take your development into consideration during the assignment. The focus however always remains on technology and sales.

Starting phase
After an introductory event, during which we present the basics of organisation and business environment, you get to know our company and meet your new colleagues.
Possible stations in the technical sales department
Technical Support Center
  • Targeted care to customers from the electrical trade and electrical wholesale sectors, as well from the energy supply sector
  • Processing and preparation of offers
  • Projects in cooperation with the field sales offices
  • Cooperation with the switchboard manufacturers

Customer support

  • Processing technical complaints for the entire range of Hager products
  • Professional support for technical issues
  • For individual cases, responsible for the independent clarification of electrical issues with Hager’s Quality Department and the affected customers
  • Processing any product recall or warning in coordination with the product line
  • Contact person for the development of solutions in the case of complaints with the departments involved and participation in the quality meetings 

Market management – marketing

  • Implementation of a market introduction projects
  • Ensure correct technical content of all means of communication used
  • Design of marketing tools to support the sales team
  • Organisation and support of market research activities as well as design and product validation within the scope of development projects
  • Continuous market and competition monitoring, evaluation and interpretation of the findings
  • Processing of administrative marketing tasks

Regional field sales

  • Professional support to electrical engineers, electrical designers, architects, project developers and electrical wholesalers
  • Sales and planning of Hager Systems Solutions
  • Acquisition of new customers and maintenance of existing customer base
  • Support interface for the technical field sales and sales promotion

Communication

  • Managing/briefing and implementation of promotional and communication projects
  • Managing marketing tools & documentations
  • Planning and execution of marketing and communication campaigns
  • Managing external service providers (lithography institutions, copywriters, agencies and photographers)
  • Monitoring and assessing current trends, in creative services, communication channels
  • Coordination of internet activities with other units of the division

Production – development
  • Coordination, organisation of production work
  • Technical and organisational definition/design of projects
  • Ensuring the implementation of projects to schedule, budget and quality requirements
  • Investment planning of the production
  • Gradual introduction of new technologies
  • Ongoing optimisation of the production processes

Product management

  • Support of a product range for all Hager markets
  • Synthesis of the need for new product development and product adjustment
  • Creation of product profiles
  • Tracking competition
  • Monitoring practices for standards and installations
  • Participation in product training and market launches
