Hager Group continues its commitment and contribution as a committed signatory to the United Nations’ Global Compact

With increasing globalisation and diminishing natural resources, we must consider the consequences of our actions. The need for greater corporate responsibility is increasing. At Hager Group, we want to move forward in such a way that we leave a clean bill of health for future generations. We have translated this vision of sustainable development into our commitment since April 2007 to the United Nations Global Compact, the voluntary business initiative to foster Corporate Social Responsibility and a structured approach that we call E3 (Ethics, Environment & Energy).

Our Tool Making school, Travellers’ guide & community, Ingénieur’e:oser, Ambient Assisted Living (AAL) Saarland network, fundraiser for premature baby, “relay of compassion”,  science knowledge workshops, ‘Il Giglio”, Eco-Awards, Peter-und-Luise-Foundation and electrical mobility initiatives are just some of the many examples to be found in Hager Group’s 2015 edition of the Communication on Progress report for the United Nations Global Compact.

These examples and others in the yearly report illustrate through concrete actions not only our adherence to the principles of supporting human rights, providing respectable labour conditions, promoting greater environmental responsibility as well as working against corruption in all its forms but also our continued commitment to our employees, customers and the environment in which we live and work.
