Hager Group TAI Community sets out to conquer Germany

Blieskatel, 8th July 2015

Hager Group TAI Community sets out to conquer Germany: our community of trainees, apprentices and interns is growing!

On 24th June, Hager Group’s TAI Community (trainees, apprentices and interns) held its official kick-off event in Germany. Some 35 trainees, apprentices and interns from the German sites of Blieskastel and Heltersberg gathered for their first general meeting.

A TAI Community member presented the community to the trainees, apprentices and interns present; this was then followed up by a speed-dating activity to get to know each other in a relaxed way and to form a network within their new community. As part of a workshop session, the TAIs then defined the needs and priorities of their group. To continue forging new links, this first meeting ended with lunch and a group photograph at the site in Blieskastel.

This meeting marks a new stage in the development of the TAI Community, which forms part of our diversity approach, specifically by fostering relationships between generations.

Since its launch in France in 2013, two annual meetings have taken place for 130 participants in Alsace. Some of the many benefits of the TAI Community are that it facilitates the integration of those involved, helping them to expand their network in the company while encouraging mutual support and knowledge sharing. Ultimately, this improves the overall experience of working at Hager Group.

The next TAI meetings are already scheduled: the sixth general meeting in France will be held in late October, and the second in Germany before the year is out! Meanwhile, other events will be arranged such as conferences, workshops, “TAI lunches” and after-work activities for TAIs in France and Germany so that they can continue building their internal network.
