Hager switches for SQUAT exhibition in Prague

A unique project called SQUAT iD23 was created at one of Prague’s most prestigious addresses - Parizska Street. Five architects were challenged to present their vision of living in a historical building in a city centre; they designed five flats for five fictive families.

Components and solutions were provided by the best on the market: Stockist, Light Works, Bulb, Hager and Monobrand.

As the architects could design and equip the flats right down to the very last detail, two of the five – Radka Valová from Atelier OOOX and Ivanka Kowalski – chose Berker switches (Hager). They both fell for the charm of  the Berker Serie 1930 Porzellan made by Rosenthal. These white switches are to be found in the main living area of both flats, whilst Berker Q.1 and Q.3 in white and anthracite were chosen for bathrooms and children’s rooms.

On 2nd December, Hager and Monobrand, a distributor of Berker switches, invited 25 architects and journalists to visit two of the flats and see for themselves the installation of Hager switches and learn even more about the unique switches and Program Hager Manufaktur.

Together with Hager colleagues, the designers and architects discussed using customised switches for their current and/or future projects. Berker design switches are yet again strengthening their positioning on the market as the Top brand and first choice for the very important target group of architects and designers.
