At Atral-Secal, pioneer and market leader for wireless alarm technology in Germany, a changeover in management is currently under way. After 26 years, the company founder and former managing director, Volker Cestaro, is retiring. He leaves his successor, Stephan Kreutzer, an ideal foundation on which to continue building their market position. The specialist installation brand Daitem plays a key role here.
Cestaro founded the start-up with only one employee. At the end of 2016, Atral-Secal counted a total of 55 employees at the Weinheim and Eltville locations. Daitem has established itself as a leading specialist installation brand in the safety market on the basis of ground-breaking technical patents and customer-driven innovations. The dynamic company development is also illustrated in the sales growth that Atral-Secal generated in Germany, Austria and German-speaking Switzerland in the meantime.
As a successor, Kreutzer brings with him both the necessary technical and personal requirements – and therefore can further build up Atral-Secal’s outstanding market position in the target markets of Germany, Austria and Switzerland and, at the same time, also create new momentum in the field of wireless fire alarm technology. Previously, Kreutzer was responsible for the ‘Ambient Assisted Living’ division at the Hager Group. He brings with him a total of 15 years of international management experience in strategy development, marketing and sales. In addition to the electrical industry, he has also gained experience in the service provision and automotive industries.
Until Cestaro retires on July 31, 2017, he will work alongside Kreutzer in order to maintain close contact with customers, business partners and employees. The transition period is scheduled for the coming six months.
