In Obernai on 29th April last, Hager group’s TAI Community (Trainees, Apprentices & Interns) came together for the first TAI General Meeting of 2015. This initiative is part of our Diversity dynamic and specifically addresses the inter-generational aspect of it. Since 2013, two annual meetings have been organised to help our young employees integrate, extend their network within the group and learn a little more about the TAI Community.
Almost 60 TAIs from the group’s three sites in Alsace attended this particular meeting. After an introduction by several members of the TAI community, they were offered a number of ice-breaking activities. They were then asked to imagine their ideal job and perfect working environment. “What would the day-to-day working environment and working methods be like? What services would the company offer its employees, etc.?” Next, the young attendees were given the opportunity to express what they expect from the group.
The very next day a summary of this feedback was presented to Top Management and will serve as an additional source of inspiration for preparation of the company project.
At the end of the event, attendees were offered refreshments and a networking opportunity with other group members before the final talk from Cathie Kopp, Human Resources Director, France, Hager Group, and one last group photo.
The 6th TAI General Meeting has already been arranged for the end of October 2015. In the meantime, there will be other events organised for the TAIs to help them continue to build their network within Hager Group.
