at Hager Group, we are now offering you the option to use an automated e-mail signature
Our aim in doing so is to ensure all our e-mail signatures have a uniform appearance. The system will be of benefit to you because changes (in for example, the Top Management) will be automatically applied in the future and you will no longer need to manually amend your signature. How does the automated e-mail signature work?
The details required for your automated e-mail signature will be taken from information in your Hagernet profile. As such, a new signature tab has been incorporated. All you need to do is activate one time only your automated signature, it will then be automatically generated and added to future e-mails you send. It is therefore important if there are any changes that you regularly update your Hagernet profile. What does the automated e-mail signature look like?
The signature will vary in terms of its appearance and the information it contains depending on whether your e-mail is being sent to an external or an internal recipient. Take a look at both variants here
. Please note that the signature will not be visible to you when you write then send your e-mail.
If you want to visualise your own personalised signature you can send yourself a test version, to do so, after having updated and saved your profile, click on ‘Edit my Profile’ again and click on the ‘Signature’ tab and then click on ‘Send test email’ at the bottom. Please follow these steps to activate your signature:
1) Go to your profile in Hagernet and validate and / or complete the details there.
2) Open the new ‘signature’ tab and amend or complete the the details you wish to include in your signature.
3) Choose the appropriate logo for your company – please choose one logo only.
4) Confirm your details by selecting ‘save and close’.
5) Remove any signatures from Outlook, iPhones, iPads, etc.
Use of this automated e-mail signature is voluntary. It is possible that this signature will be introduced as a compulsory measure in the future by the different companies following a transition phase. We will let you know in another newsletter if this is the case.Where can I find out more?
