Since the last one, major changes have been implemented in the HPLP templates and checklists thanks to your improvement proposals. We hope these changes have brought clarification and simplified your daily activities.

What changed with the July 2017 release?

Changes to simplify your daily activities!

Changes to templates & processes:
● 6 templates/processes have been updated. HPLP Process,
Project Set-up, Engineering-Value Chain Contract, 8P, Project Milestone Review Mx,
and Data Management Rules & Control.
● 6 templates/ processes have been created.
Project Actors, Milestone Attendees, HPLP QFT Indicators Rules, Eco-design
Process and 2 Eco-design Record Forms.

Changes to checklists:
46 evidences suppressed
47 evidences added
75 evidences improved
38 roles & responsibilities modified

The next release is planned for end November 2017.

33 Champions, 13 different sites & 7 nationalities!

Our first Champions' day took place on 13th June at Hager Forum, in Obernai, bringing together 33 Champions from 13 different sites and 7 nationalities. Our ambition was to meet and also develop this Champions’ network by sharing HPLP experiences through thematic workshops, such as, project requirements, programme & project organisation and project milestone reviews.

Outcomes: Thanks to your involvement, we managed to collect 60 new improvement topics and 29 good practices. This input provides the basis for continuous improvement activities in the second half of the year.

2 new Project Management 2017 training modules proved to be a great success!

Achievements so far:
● 506 colleagues already enrolled for our 3-hour Project Management Foundations!
800 colleagues are targeted for this module to (re)discover the basics of Project
Management.
● 90 colleagues enrolled for our 3-day Project Management Practitioner!
A great success, as 60 colleagues were targeted for this module to fine tune and
become an expert in Project Management.

What is Planisware?

Bringing added value to project teams in Project and Portfolio Execution!

A Project and Portfolio Management (PPM) tool called Planisware is currently being deployed; its main goal is to bring added value to project teams for project and portfolio execution. This group solution will replace all other tools currently in use to provide one single solution. Planisware will, of course, integrate and strongly support HPLP methodology (deliverables, milestones, check-list…)

Planisware will help us lead projects & programmes throughout their entire lifecycle; from ideation, arbitration, execution & monitoring up to project closure.

Planisware planning calendar 2017:
● Hager Group specific parameters will be integrated by end October,
● training period for users in November and December,
● group wide go-live scheduled for end December.

If you are one of the future users, you will soon be receiving more details about Planisware and the training.
