The Hager Group Annual Report 2011 highlights the spirit of innovation.
It is said that the most reliable way to forecast the future is to invent it, and it is exactly this invention of the future that we are intensively working on at Hager Group, today. Last year, for the first Innovation Day, we collected over 1,000 innovative ideas - a successful venture which enters its second round this year: we are currently in the middle of the selection phase of ideas for Innovation Day 2012.
In December 2011 the clearly extended understanding of innovation at Hager Group has been presented at the Symposium in Paris. It no longer simply involves the introduction of classical product innovations, but rather concerns new services, intelligent systems and astute solutions for our customers.
With such new solutions, completely new customer sectors, market shares and turnover potential can be opened up, even in economically uncertain times, confirms Daniel Hager, Chief Executive Officer of Hager Group. “Opportunities come, to those who have ideas and those who fight for them, those who dare to look beyond their own horizons and to those who think further than others. Particularly today, particularly for us and particularly now.”
The meaning of this innovative understanding for our customers, partners and for ourselves is the theme of the new Annual Report 2011, which is now available under the title “Innovation – from products to solutions”. Just as our last year’s Annual Report, the new version also contains a Best of section describing the most important products, events and company news of 2011 – a year in which Hager Group opened a completely new chapter in its history of innovations.
