The Princess Máxima Center for paediatric oncology is the largest of its kind in Europe, covering an area of 45,000 square metres.
It was developed with young patients and their parents in mind: from indoor play areas for children to chill-out rooms for teenagers, everything is designed to meet the needs of families.
A bridge connects the building with the neighbouring Wilhelmina Hospital, where the operating theatres are located.
