The association “Christliches Jugenddorfwerk Deutschland e.V.” offers young people with more difficulties than others in the employment market careful guidance and opportunities for the future. They are supported by committed partners such as Hager Group. Ulrich Holzer is involved in a project, which started last year and which he supervises together with his colleagues Birgit Seggedi and Franz Josef Maßfelder. Hager Group provides CJD with warehouses on the old Ensheim factory premises. Trainees are able to get to know the processes involved in operational logistics under real-time conditions. Ulrich refers to this as a win-win situation as in this project, both sides benefit mutually. The advantages for the CJD trainees are plain to see: they benefit from genuine practical training at the Ensheim site. In the meantime, the first trainees have already completed their training with excellent results and have found permanent jobs in the private sector.
