Hager Group Annual Report caught the attention of the jury of the renowned Red Dot Award: Communication Design 2016 and received awards in both the ‘Digital Annual Report’ and ‘Webspecial’ categories.
Well-known designers, respected design professors and trade journalists from 13 different countries reviewed all the entries submitted for the 2016 design competition. And the Hager Group team fought off competition from entries from 46 countries: the Hager Group Digital Annual Report 2015 was honoured twice by the jury and received awards in both the ‘Digital Annual Report’ and ‘Webspecial’ categories.
Listening? Isn’t that something we all do day in, day out? In fact, these days we are bombarded with more information than ever before. But the essential points often get lost. That’s because listening and understanding are two very different things. A basic understanding of customers, employees and their needs is the starting point for economic success.
That is why Hager Group dedicated its Annual Report 2015 to the great art of listening. In interviews with partners and employees, reports from the Hager world and portraits of extraordinary company projects, the annual report addresses the question of how a deep understanding can be gained through listening. In addition to a print version of the annual report, a digital version was also published for customers, colleagues and other stakeholders.
"You have (...) demonstrated the highest level of expertise and great courage, showing that your company is up there with the best in the industry," writes Professor Peter Zec, the initiator of the Red Dot Design Award, in his letter of congratulations to the annual report team. The prize will be presented at a grand award ceremony in Berlin on 4th November.
"Not only is the annual report highly valued by our customers, partners and other stakeholders, but also by people who were completely unaware of our company until now," says Daniel Hager, CEO of Hager Group. "It provides interesting insights in to the past, present and future life and work of Hager Group, making a contribution to our success that cannot be praised highly enough. Congratulations and thank you to everyone who has played a part in this extraordinary achievement!"
