The newly constructed hall at Basel’s exhibition centre is one of the most spectacular new buildings in Switzerland’s unofficial architectural capital, situated on the River Rhine. An architecture critic from the magazine ‘art’ referred to the building as being “a dazzling showpiece that captures the imagination”. As well as the architects, Hager Group also made an important contribution to the building – albeit a less obvious one. Hager provided around 200 distribution systems and enclosures for two energy supply systems. They were installed by teams from Jaisli-Xamax AG.
