As the figurehead of a forward-looking metropolis, the Mériadeck business district is currently experiencing a rebirth. This complete transformation was triggered by the urban modernisation policy implemented in recent years by the city of Bordeaux. The Croix du Palais building, a symbol of 1980s concrete slab urban planning, reflects this recomposition process. This group of three towers was restructured to invent new spaces and to become a work and leisure space, both relaxing and intimate, open to the city and acting as a standard-bearer for Bordeaux’s creative image. Hager handled the complete remodelling of the electric system. This global service provision includes energy distribution, cable trunking and building management; it also showcases every Hager product and solution.
