Our requirements

Hager Group works exclusively with suppliers that aim to ensure operational excellence. Each supplier must work within a context of continuous improvement and must have unlimited liability for its products and those of its own suppliers.

Suppliers must sign the Quality Charter of Hager Group and must meet our quality requirements.

Conflict Minerals
Hager Group fully supports the 2013 OECD initiative - “Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Supply Chains of Minerals from Conflict-affected and High-risk Areas”, which is in line with our values and commitment to sustainable development. Therefore, Hager Group requests that its suppliers comply with Hager Group’s “Sustainable Growth and Ethical Trading Policy” that includes the request to source materials needed for their operations solely from socially responsible vendors.

Sustainable development and ethical behaviour
All suppliers must share our core values and sign our charter “Sustainable Development Policy and Ethical Trade Principles”

Management systems
All suppliers must introduce the following management systems:

  • Quality Management System according to ISO 9001:2008 or ISO/TS 16949:2009
  • Environmental Management System according to ISO 14001:2009


  • All products delivered to us must comply with the RoHS and WEEE Directives.
  • All products delivered to us must satisfy the REACH Regulation.
  • All suppliers must be in a position to provide us with a product environmental profile.

Shared acceptance of the economic framework

  • Customer’s warranty claims towards Hager Group must be accepted by the supplier.
  • Terms of payment must be in keeping with the economic framework.
