Berker USB outlets chosen for new rail line in the USA

The Fort Worth Transportation Authority will launch TexRail, a new rail line to cover 40 km between downtown and DFW international Airport, in Texas, United States.

In total, 8 brand-new trains known as Diesel Multiple Units (DMUs) will be built by Stadler Bussnang AG. By the end of the first year in operation, TexRail is expected to serve more than 8,000 daily riders at nine stations.

For the passenger’s comfort, Berker was chosen to supply the vehicles with 800 USB charging sockets, model R.1 black glossy finish centre plate with the aluminium/polar white frame.

TexRail's new line is expected to be inaugurated by the end of 2018.
