Career Day 2019

Around 60 young people participated in Career Day at our Blieskastel site.

They got to know all about career prospects as different managers and HR colleagues spent an entire afternoon answering their questions and providing valuable information about exciting career opportunities at Hager Group.

Torsten Schulz, Sales and Marketing Director for Hager Vertriebsgesellschaft, Germany welcomed the students and spoke about history of our Saarland family business. Afterwards, Human Resources managers Jörg Sick and Rainer Mathieu informed the students about different job opportunities in Blieskastel, especially in the field of engineering. We are looking for young talents to help us shape the electrical world of tomorrow. Our trainee program is one way of getting started in the industry, it allows students to gain insights into several areas of the company at the same time.

Visitors to Career Day were also able to learn more about the various production areas via a factory tour. Networking was also a big part of the day, our current trainees were able to discuss and share their experience with the visitors.
