Casa Decor opened its doors to the public again from 10th May to 18th June 2017, showcasing the latest trends from the worlds of interior design, architecture, design and art. The 52nd edition of Casa Decor also marked the 25th anniversary of this series of events. The exclusive interior design and decoration fair was held in a restored 19th century four-storey building in Barrio de los Jerónimos, the most luxurious district of Madrid. More than 40,000 people attended this year’s Casa Decor exhibition – that’s just short of 1,000 visitors a day.
Hager was there for the third time, too. This year, the team brought interior architect Beatriz Silveira on board to design the space according to the “Hager Natural tube” theme. The Hager room wowed visitors with special, powerful motifs that perfectly showcased the Hager products and solutions. Some of the Hager solutions were displayed on glass book shelves reaching almost all the way to the ceiling. The mixture of large organic motifs, flowers in black and white with geometric flooring and wall mirrors gave the room a fresh, modern look.
Hager solutions and applications were also installed in 11 other rooms besides this one.
About CASA DECOR
Casa Decor is an exclusive interior design exhibition with a format unlike any other in Europe. It is held in a different location in the centre of Madrid each year. For 40 days, the exhibition is open to the public in a unique historic building whose interior has been decorated by some of the most important interior designers in the industry.
The event was first held in 1992, when a group of 43 interior designers came together to transform a former convent in Madrid. The exhibitions have been visited by over 2 million people to date – that’s an average of 40,000 visitors per year.
