Data Management Specialist (m/w/d)

Mission

As a Data Management Specialist (m/f/d) you guide business functions in improving all capabilities of data management (data processes, data roles & responsibilities, data modeling,…) in line with their business targets, to improve efficiency and added value in Analytics, Data Science and Artificial Intelligence applications.

Starting from a specific business process, data domain or restricted data sets :

• You analyze and build the big picture of data and data management at stake, you identify gaps and pain points
• You lead with business stakeholders comprehensive analysis of potential solutions and align them with company executives.
• You lead (if relevant) related project work-packages or Proofs of Concept to validate your recommendations. You are accountable for project deliverables.
• You are the single point of contact for Data Quality team to specify, validate and operationalize Data quality monitoring.

As an illustration, list of potential operational activities depending on project context :

• Define roles & responsibilities around data
• Define business rules
• Optimize data processes to ensure sustainable data quality
• Translate business rules into data quality rules and build associated specifications
• Drive data corrections activities
• Organize governance meetings

Profile

• You have a university degree in computer science or equivalent.
• You have minimum 2 years’ of professional experience in a data-oriented environment.
• You are experienced in processes and data modeling.
• You are familiar with data bases and have general IT skills. Specific ETL skills would be a plus.
• You are fluent in English, German and French skills would be a good asset.
• You have strong analytical thinking and problem solving skills.
• You have a high social competence and consultative skills.
• You are always enthusiastic and full of energy.
