Distinctions keep rolling in for Berker R.8

Berker R.8 picks up another three design awards.

Berker R.8 design distinguished itself yet again by winning a Good Design Award, an iF Award and a Red Dot Award; it is already the proud Gold Winner ofa German Design Award.

Its remarkable super flat switch features, perfect proportions and exact geometric shapes with high-quality surfaces are Berker R.8’s distinguishing design features. The use of genuine materials such as glass, aluminium and stainless steel creates authentic tactility; the R.8 is the best choice to underline a minimalist and modern interior design.

The Good Design® Award: this award is presented by the Chicago Athenaeum for the most innovative and cutting-edge industrial, product, and graphic designs produced around the world. The Good Design® Awards create awareness about contemporary design and honour both products and industry leaders in design and manufacturing that have chartered new directions for innovation.

The Red Dot Award for Product Design is one of the most renowned evaluation processes for good designand innovation. With submissions from 55 countries and over 5,500 products in the competition, they are all assessed individually by an independent and international jury of experts.

iF Design Award: every year, iF International Forum Design GmbH organises one of the world's most celebrated and valued design competitions, the iF DESIGN AWARD. A symbol of design excellence around the world, it is one of the oldest and most recognised awards worldwide in the field of design excellence. Berker R.8 won over the 67-international jurors, made up of independent experts from all over the world.The competition was intense: over 6.400 entries were submitted from 50 countries in hopes of receiving the seal of quality.
