The annual German Electricians Championship to find the best master electricians in 7 recognised apprenticeship trades took place from 13th to 16th November. As usual, the venue was the Federal Technology Centre for Electrical Engineering and Information Technology (BFE - Bundestechnologiezentrum für Elektro- und Informationstechnik e.V.) in Oldenburg.
The contest, also known as the BLW (Bundesleistungswettbewerb - Federal Competition) for Young Electricians, was being held for the 63rd time, this year under the patronage of Daniel Hager, Hager Group’s CEO.
“We are pleased that with Daniel Hager we have a patron who does such a lot to support young electricians. As the head of a family business, he knows that the future success of the company also depends on being able to take on young electricians.
Hager Group’s commitment in this segment of the market is exemplary”, commented Manfred Köhler, BLW Director, when the official patronage documents were handed over on 19th September at Hager Group in Obernai, France. The overall Champion was Johannes Petry. At the celebration party held in the Weser Ems Hall in Oldenburg he was rewarded with an e-bike sponsored by this year’s patron, Daniel Hager.
