E-Commerce Marketing Specialist (m/f/d)

Mission

As an E-commerce Marketing Specialist and in close collaboration with our 12+ markets in Europe, you work on long-term projects with our wholesalers to amplify partnership value. Together, you combine the best of sales, marketing, and technology to deliver a superior and integrated customer experience for electricians buying Hager products at our wholesalers’ webshops.

To do so:

• You understand the growth potential of our partnerships with our wholesalers thanks to relevant KPIs and data and you provide counseling to maintain or improve performance.
• You assess our brand presence and sales performance on our wholesalers’ websites and work closely with them to continuously improve the website’s user/shopping experience.
• You identify room for improvement in the SEO strategy and find ways to increase the traffic to our wholesalers’ webshops and to boost the conversion rate for Hager products.
• You work closely with your colleagues at the Customer Marketing Europe to develop marketing content and campaigns that will support the defined e-merchandising plans with our wholesalers.
• You identify and share best practices with our Sales & Marketing teams locally to implement winning e-commerce strategies throughout Europe.

Additionally, you frame and specify our customer portal for wholesalers, including an e-procurement platform and other associated digital services to reinforce the relationship between wholesalers and Hager.

Profile

• Master's degree and minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role, with ownership in e-commerce, digital marketing, demand generation, marketplace management, or a related field.
• Knowledge of the martech tools commonly used by e-commerce companies and of the latest search engine algorithmic developments and guidelines.
• Extreme proficiency in Excel and strong analytical skills in order to efficiently manage and analyze data, identify critical issues and opportunities, evaluate options and provide clear recommendations for online sales growth.  
• Great project management skills with a proven track-record in delivering large scale international and cross-functional initiatives and a result orientation to drive structured and practical solutions.  
• Strong written and oral communication abilities in English. French or German as a second language is a must.
