E3/DC at Energy Storage Europe 2019

From 12th to 14th March, E3/DC part of Hager Group exhibited at the Energy Storage Europe trade fair in Düsseldorf with a newly designed stand. This international trade fair and conference provides exhibitors, companies and research institutions with the opportunity to present their latest products and research results. Taking centre stage at the E3/DC exhibition was the new S10 E PRO home power station, a storage technology that demonstrates the company’s consistent move towards sector coupling.

During the three-day event, the E3/DC team held over 100 technical discussions, primarily with existing and potential customers from the installation trade. Visitors were given a detailed insight into the opportunities offered by E3/DC’s most powerful home power station with a view to generating energy self-sufficiently within residential and commercial buildings.

The new S10 E PRO features high storage capacity, as well as unparalleled charging and discharging performance within the home storage market. This makes it the ideal choice for customers who are looking to achieve maximum independence from energy suppliers and avoid rising energy prices. However, according to the developers, this can only be achieved if the energy storage can also be used to efficiently power large heat pumps and charge electric cars. Using solutions from E3/DC, average self-sufficiency rates of up to 85% can be achieved.

“With the PRO range, we are taking a decisive step by significantly enhancing the performance of our tried-and-tested home power station,” says E3/DC Managing Director Dr. Andreas Piepenbrink. “This will set new standards for the future and enable the home power station to become the primary means of supplying residential buildings with all the electricity they need to power and heat the building and keep the residents’ vehicles running.” In addition to its home power station, E3/DC also showcased its modular Quattroporte storage series at the fair in Düsseldorf. This product was designed for retrofitting on existing PV systems and for commercial applications.
