Shaping the electrical future together

Our teams of experts around the world always pursue one goal: to be our customers' number one. To associate ourselves with this mission, we traditionally organise local "kick-off" meetings at the beginning of the year. A wonderful opportunity to exchange with colleagues, share insights from the previous year and also define the focus for the coming months. The colleagues in all countries of our group ask themselves one question again and again: How can we continue to support our customers in the best possible way in the future? Let’s have a look together at the digital kick-off meetings in some countries.

Spotlight Germany
On 14th and 15th January 2021, our colleagues in Germany started the new business year with the kick-off 2021. During this digital event around 600 colleagues tuned in for new topics, projects and goals for the coming months. Like so many other events, the two-day annual kick-off event had to take place virtually for the first time. Thanks to good preparation, both the live broadcast from the headquarters in Blieskastel and the feed from all six regional broadcasting stations could be realised smoothly. The developments surrounding the Corona pandemic were discussed during the review of the year 2020. The focus of the event, however, was primarily on 2021: seven speakers explained the focus topics around launches, campaigns and initiatives for the current year.
Spotlight Middle East and North Africa Region (AMENEAT)
In addition to planning for the newly started year, local colleagues reviewed the biggest successes from the previous year. Among others, the high-level customer service during the first lockdown was highlighted. A part of colleagues had even more reason to celebrate as they were honoured for their numerous years of service in the Group. We are pleased to join in the congratulations! Happy employees make happy customers.
Spotlight Asia Pacific Region (APAC)
In the Asia-Pacific region, the new year was also welcomed digitally at the beginning of February. And with a particularly beautiful motto: "Make it happen together!" - Together we can do it!
Spotlight France
In France, as well, the extraordinary circumstances of the pandemic resulted in a new format: on 13th January 2021 more than 500 colleagues gathered for the digital event "Convention21". As a second step, the teams met for a series of digital meetings and workshops. Here it became clear: customer proximity should remain our strength in the future. Finally, our French colleagues highlighted the rapid teams mobilisation during the first lockdown in March 2020. This trend should continue in 2021 - especially with regard to the growth priorities of our company's P2030 project.
Spotlight Greece
On 20th January 2021, colleagues in Greece celebrated the start of the new financial year. On that occasion, they discussed the growth areas for 2021. How to handle them successfully? The answer is also in line with our Group’s mission: we should stay very close to our customers!                
Spotlight India
"Our annual motto remains the topic of resilience in 2021"; explain our colleagues from India. End of January, 74 colleagues spent two days discussing how we can maintain mental strength in a challenging 2021 environment – which will help to achieve the ambitious goals on the ground.
Spotlight Poland
Our colleagues in Poland successfully started the new business year on 28th January 2021. Here, again, the objectives are focused on the priorities set in the P2030 corporate project. For the right "spirit", the colleagues organized a motivational speech.
Spotlight Portugal
"We want to accompany customers on their individual customer journey," this is how our colleagues in Portugal have defined their objective. On 21st January 2021, they discussed how this can be achieved. A key goal: It must continue to be as easy as possible for customers to work with us in the future.
Spotlight Czech Republic
Colleagues in the Czech Republic received their kick-off package at home this year. It contained some symbolic products for energy, speed and cooperation. And of course the invitation to the virtual exchange, which took place on 28th January 2021. Their motto for this year: "Spolu silnější" - Together we are stronger!
