Global Compact

On 26th June 2014 Hager Group went online with the 2014 edition of the Communication on Progress (COP) report for the United Nations’ Global Compact.

Snehalaya Education Society, travellers’ community, TAI community, blood donation camps and Toastmasters Clubs, HagerGO! survey, ISO certifications, Eco-Awards, Peter-und-Luise-Foundation and electrical mobility initiatives are just some of the many examples to be found in Hager Group’s 2014 edition of the Communication on Progress report for the United Nations Global Compact. This rapport illustrates the company’s continued commitment to its employees, customers and the environment in which people live and work. This report has just been published on the United Nations’ website.

It was in April 2007 that Hager Group first signed up to the United Nations Global Compact, the voluntary business initiative supervised by the United Nations to foster Corporate Social Responsibility. The COP report is an opportunity for Hager Group to highlight its all-encompassing E3 approach to sustainable business in terms of ethics, environment and energy. Each year Hager Group proves through concrete actions that it adheres to the principles of supporting human rights, providing respectable labour conditions, promoting greater environmental responsibility as well as working against corruption in all its forms.
