On 26th June 2013 Hager Group went on-line with the 2013 edition of its Communication on Progress report for the United Nations’ Global Compact.
Tara mobile crèches, initiatives to promote diversity, university and internship programmes, Hager Family days, HagerGO! survey, Health Week, ISO certifications, Eco-Awards, Peter-und-Luise-Foundation and zero paper initiatives are just some of the many examples to be found in Hager Group’s 2013 edition of the Communication on Progress report for the United Nations Global Compact illustrating the company’s commitment to employees, customers and the environment. This report has just been published on the United Nations’ website.
It was in April 2007 that Hager Group first signed up to the United Nations Global Compact, the voluntary business initiative supervised by the United Nations to foster Corporate Social Responsibility. Hager Group has an annual responsibility to produce a Communication on Progress report to illustrate its commitment to Global Compact through its business strategies and day-to-day operations.
Each year Hager Group proves through concrete actions that it adheres to the principles of supporting human rights, providing respectable labour conditions, promoting greater environmental responsibility as well as working against corruption in all its forms. The report is an opportunity to highlight the company’s all-encompassing E3 approach to sustainable business in terms of ethics, environment and energy.
With his introductory statement of commitment to the 2013 Communication on Progress report, Daniel Hager, Chief Executive Officer of Hager Group, emphasises that sustainability means progressing in accordance with social, ecological and economic parameters, all three being instrumental in maintaining profitable growth for our company in the long term.
And as you know, all good things come in E-threes
