Hager becomes a member of the ‘Home of Innovation’

Saudi Arabian petrochemical group SABIC brings innovative companies together.

Johannes Thome, VP Sales & Marketing AMENEAT at Hager, and Frédéric També, head of Hager subsidiary in Saudi Arabia, accepted an award during a small ceremony. In addition to a certificate of appointment and a trophy, the team was particularly pleased to receive the award as a partner of the petrochemical giant SABIC in the exclusive circle of the most innovative companies in Saudi Arabia.

The ‘Home of Innovation’ initiative, founded by SABIC, will continue to act as a catalyst for the implementation of new ideas by the industrial companies that gather in the Tech Valley around Riyadh. ‘Home of Innovation’ is considered a contact point for companies committed to innovation and growth there. The overall goal of the initiative is to work together to make the Middle East and North Africa region (MENEAT) fit for the future.

Our colleagues in the region will now have the opportunity to present an existing range of Smart Living solutions in seminars in an interesting market environment. For example, engineers can take part in seminars on Smart Home techniques in Hager’s KNX certification laboratory. In addition, various solutions from our Hager brand will be installed in the Home of Innovation building. This means our products are not only visible on site, they can also be experienced.

The facility is also supported by the German Embassy and the German Chamber of Industry and Commerce who help companies like ours to place innovative products from Europe in the MENEAT region.
