Hager Group, a leading supplier of electrical installations and services in residential, industrial and commercial building, becomes sustaining member of Bundesverband deutscher Immobilienunternehmen e.V. (GdW). As an industry-related specialist, Hager Group intends to support GdW and its members in the energy management and electronic solutions branches.
GdW represents the interests of about 3,000 building and estate companies throughout Germany in politics, economy and the media. The network of excellence of the umbrella organisation has over 30 sustaining members. This group now includes Hager Group, which will be adding their expertise in the energy management and electronic systems branches. "Energy management in multi-family buildings is one of the greatest challenges in future living. This also includes producing, storing and potentially selling energy. As a competent partner and consultant we intend to support the housing industry in this area”, states Johannes Hauck, Corporate Strategy & Innovation Hager Group.
Hager Group is currently unique among sustaining members in the fields of energy management and electronic systems. Axel Gedaschko, Present of GdW, considers this a great opportunity: “This partnership is a meaningful addition to our network of excellence. We expect exciting momenta for our syndicate’s work from Hager Group as an expert in electronic installations and services.”
As part of being a sustaining member, Hager Group intends to also introduce the housing industry to trendsetting, climate-friendly and sustainable technologies and assist with implementing the technology. Hager Group can particularly offer extensive know-how and a specialised product range for digitising buildings. This also includes the domovea building control. The technology links, controls and visualises networked applications in the Smart Home. Furthermore, with the innovative 2-wire technology by ELCOM up to 256 residential units can be linked to a remote station.
The nationwide GdW platform will further be used to exchange expertise and requirements in residential construction. In the long term, feedback from building companies will be incorporated in Hager Group developments and solutions.
