Hager Group is again one of the best employers in France and Germany

Hager Group is one of France’s best employers for the second year in a row, according to a 2016 study conducted by the statistics portal Statista in France, on behalf of CAPITAL magazine.

Several thousand companies with over 500 employees were surveyed. The 20,000 respondents gave their opinions – anonymously – on the quality of their job and of their employer, rating them on a scale from 1 to 10.

According to the results, Hager Group ranks second in the sector ‘electrical equipment and installations’, ahead of larger competitors, who are Legrand, Schneider and ABB.

Similarly, a Statista/Focus survey of more than 100,000 people has ranked Hager Group one of Germany’s best employers, also for the second year in a row.

Hager Group was also awarded as one of Germany's most family-friendly employers in 2016. kununu, along with with freundin (a German magazine), searched for the Top 100 family-friendly employers; Hager Group ranked 44th out of more than 208,000 companies. The Top 100 list can be found here (only available in German).

These very positive and continuous results will help attract new, talented staff. Candidates certainly pay attention to neutral surveys such as the CAPITAL best employers ranking: this kind of evaluation is a major criterion when deciding where to apply.

“Our employees have always been and will always be the key to Hager Group’s sustainable success: they create the value that we bring to our customers,” says Franck Houdebert, Chief Human Resources Officer at Hager Group.

“We aim to provide a working environment that encourages people to use their initiative. And, as an employer, we are constantly striving to do better. We are extremely proud of our repeated performance in the two surveys. It’s both a reward for all the effort our teams have put in in the last years and confirmation that we are on the right track with regard to our group strategy for the year 2020."
