Hager Group opens its doors to schools at its site in Obernai, Alsace.

This is the first time we have opened our Obernai site to young people of 14 and over from local schools and their parents. We welcomed over 200 visitors on this occasion.

The aim was to allow young people and their parents who are uncertain about what they want to do when they leave school to find out about careers in our company, the industry and in particular our future recruitment plans.

"I would like to do a BTS specialising in industrial product design and this visit has confirmed my choice. The factories are really impressive; people were interested to find out how the machines worked", explains Maxime, a high school student.

"We live less than 10 minutes from here and we didn't know about Hager. We are delighted to learn more about this local company and the employment opportunities it offers to young people", adds Sandrine, who came with her daughter.

The many activities that were organized included factory visits, interaction with employees and workshops on CVs and apprenticeships supported by staff of the UIMM Alsace Training Centre. The day was organized by the Hager Group Human Resources department and led by some 20 of its employees.
