Hager Group supports East Side Fab

Interaction and innovation workshops in Saarbrücken

In September 2019, the East Side Fab initiative already presented its interaction and innovation lab in the industrial park Eschberger Weg, in Saarbrücken.  This 2019 event was attended by the Saarland Minister of Economic Affairs, Anke Rehlinger, and blogger Sascha Lobo.

Now and in the future, companies and institutions can meet there to enrich each other in a creative environment. The Saarland Ministry of Economics, Labour, Energy and Transport has earmarked a funding volume of € 3.1 million over a period of four years for the hall, the supporting association and the necessary modern infrastructure. The association East Side Fab e.V., already founded in October 2019, was presented end January 2020 during an all-day foundation ceremony.

In addition to lectures, discussions and demonstrations, there were also speeches by Henrik Eitel, Head of the State Chancellery of Saarland, and Mr. Jürgen Barke, State Secretary in the Saarland Ministry of Economic Affairs. The first Chairman of the association is our Hager Group colleague Johannes Hauck, Director New Business & Regulatory Environment.
