Hager Services and Hager meet hospitality industry representatives at the Food Hotel Tech show
On 28th and 29th November, Hager Services attended Food Hotel Tech, a trade show for technology and digital services for the hospitality industry, which took place in La Villette, Paris.
It was the first time that this very targeted event had been held, and it was an excellent opportunity for the Hager Services teams and the Hager France sales force to come into direct contact with future users of their new service solutions.
Attendees included hospitality industry professionals, representatives and decision-makers from hotel chains, plus managers and operations managers from independent hotels. All kinds of establishment were represented: Parisian hotels and those from further afield, hotels with anything between five and 500 rooms, traditional hotels and new accommodation concepts, and luxury establishments. The visitors had all come to find out about the innovations and new opportunities that digitalisation can offer.
Hager Services, which works at the intersection of innovative technologies and digital services for travellers, used the event to unveil its new purified interior air solution for hotel rooms.
It includes a smart measuring unit which, when necessary, automatically activates a purifier to monitor and improve air quality. All of this is connected to a dashboard for the hotel manager’s use, and to an application that provides information about the quality of the air inside the rooms to guests.
The solution is sold directly to hotel managers on a subscription basis. They have given it a very positive reception so far.
It comes at a time of growing awareness of air pollution, which is linked to sleep and work quality. It also meets the demands of foreign clientèle, whom hotels want to attract. Moreover, hotel managers who are looking for innovative products and services have realised that this new technology can help them to make their establishment stand out in the marketplace.
They really welcome the idea of standing out from the crowd by offering a different service when booking online, or of increasing loyalty among guests who place a lot of importance on the little details by enhancing the quality of their everyday life (just like at home) during their stay at the hotel.
This system was launched in November 2017 and completes the range of solutions that Hager Group offers for hotel premises, which include wall switches (Berker) electrical equipment, room automation systems and charging stations for electric vehicles (Hager), with the aim of ensuring that guests have an unforgettable stay, from the moment they start preparing for it to the moment they leave the premises.
