With the ceremonial inauguration of its new customer centre in Emmenbrücke, Hager Switzerland has taken an important step towards the future. In doing so, we have now created the ideal setting in which to show our partners and customers all of our expertise – be it products, solutions or services – under one roof in the showroom.
In our state-of-the-art training rooms, moreover, a comprehensive range of specialist knowledge on all aspects of electric energy distribution and control can be imparted to trainees. In an age of increasing competitive pressure, engaging with customers is becoming increasingly more important. That is why the customer centre is also a knowledge platform which, not least, helps us develop future and market-oriented products, solutions and services.
More than 800 guests
At the opening celebrations from 8th to 12th April 2014, more than 800 visitors gained an insight into the new customer centre. From Tuesday to Friday, partners and customers from the various regions of Switzerland, as well as representatives of trade journals, were invited to attend. On the Saturday, the doors were then opened to Hager Group’s employees and their families, representatives of public authorities, and the local newspapers.
The week of open days generated a great deal of interest. Visitors had the opportunity to inspect not only the new customer centre and all the possibilities that it offers, but also the production area with its modern powder-coating facility and new stamping centre. Also on the tour of the site were the logistics, switch and socket production, and thermosetting production departments. This guided visit was received with great enthusiasm and visitors were able to spend time at the various workstations, which in turn led to many interesting and well-informed discussions between the visitors and Hager Group’s specialist personnel. The “Made in Switzerland” touch was very well received by our guests and provides an important and elementary distinction between us and the local competition.
Daniel Hager emphasised the importance of partnership
The guests were greeted with a welcome aperitif and a buffet. At the VIP function, CEO Daniel Hager and Martin Soder, Managing Director of Hager Switzerland, thanked the partners for their loyalty and support. At the end of the day, it is thanks to our partners that we have been able to set up this customer centre. After their tour of the site, guests were treated to a barbecue buffet in the ceremonially-decorated pavilion. This relaxed and easy-going setting led to many fascinating encounters and conversations.
