Hager Group All-Stars took on Racing Club Strasbourg Alsace All-Stars on Friday 18th May.
For visitors to the Meinau Stadium in Strasbourg the event kicked off at 5 p.m. well before the actual match, thanks to a varied programme. On offer for Hager Group employees and their relatives were; a guided tour of the stadium, food stands and especially available items in the fan shop. To keep the children goal-happy they could shoot at a goal wall and show off their football talent.
Around 500 supporters were there to cheer on the two All-Star teams when at 19:30, Franck Houdebert (Chief Human Resources Officer) announced the start of the game. Hager Group employee-players from Germany and France were united under Coach Jean-Guy Dietrich.
The 60-minute game provided all present with much excitement and emotion. The Hager Group All-Stars played valiantly, the game ended with a 6:3 for the RCSA All-Stars.
For all present, this event was more than a football game; it further strengthened the bonds of the special relationship between Hager Group German and French employees, customers & sites.
Indeed, one of the organisers present at the event reflected on the match commenting that, "…we are happy that this football evening was a success – for the players, colleagues and all their guests."
