The unique triple of monasteries extends on the area of the northern Vltava meander and after the castle is the second largest monumental object in Český Krumlov. The reconstruction of the monastery complex lasted more than five years. Monasteries originated in the middle of the 14th century.
The primary objective of the site's revitalization was to build a center for providing modern cultural and educational services to the public and, last but not least, to make the historical center of Český Krumlov more attractive for both residents and tourists.
