Gisela Lanza, professor and Head of the Institute of Production Science of the Karlsruhe Institute of Technologiy (KIT) is appointed as new board member of Hager Group.
On 27th June 2017 the General Assembly of Hager SE nominated Professor Gisela Lanza as a new member of the Supervisory Board. Gisela Lanza joins deputy chair Evi Hager as the second woman on the company's Supervisory Board. The Board is made up of six members, the others being Günther Fleig (chairman), Philip Hager, Antoine Raymond and Professor Rainer Lorz.
Professor Gisela Lanza has held the professorship for production systems and quality management at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) for the past five years alongside her role as Head of the Institute of Production Science (wbk). She has been in charge of the production systems department at the wbk since 2003. Professor Lanza held the shared professorship for Global Production Engineering and Quality at the KIT from 2008 to 2011, during the course of which she was involved in strategic planning at Daimler AG. She is also an active member of several Advisory Boards, Supervisory Boards and Committees, and in 2016, received the Cross of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany for her work in the field of production science.

We are therefore very much looking forward to working together in the future.”
