We are now looking to recruit the role of Operations Manager, Dublin, we would like to hear from you if you have the following skills.
Knowledge of Electrical Installation products and Industry would be a distinct advantage.
SAP knowledge would be an advantageous to the role.
Must have the ability to multitask and switch focus quickly.
Good attention to detail and organisational skills are essential.
Excellent telephone manner and communication skills.
Ability to work well as part of small team in a fast-paced environment; must be a high-energy, motivated self-starter.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to interpret and analyse data for reporting purposes.
Strong relationship management skills.
Knowledge of the supply chain process would also be a distinct advantage.
Main responsibilities to include:
Manage the demand planning forecast on SAP and BW and ensure market information is prepared, revised and communicated well to the different business areas at Hager Group.
Ensure that procedures are in place, reviewed and maintained.
Optimise supply chain; set up Service Level Agreements with key wholesalers to Improve customer satisfaction and maintain agreed stock targets based on product classification.
Implement & maintain Group target stock policy principles, to optimise stockholding & ensure defined KPI stock-turn targets are realised.
Ensure stock levels support >98% availability targets and receipts to support customer demands.
Review carrier / distribution costs frequently (2x year at least).
Manage the supply planning and purchasing process for the market areas on SAP.
Ensure close relationship with Sourcing – Purchasing team UK and support Group Sourcing Strategy.
Establish with management monthly, quarterly and yearly forecasts and review at BF 1, 2 and 3.
Ensure adequate inventory available from Group suppliers and from our assembly line to meet customer demands.
Ensure inventory accuracy in the warehouse and work with management on the annual stock take.
Review regularly safety stocks and minimise exposure to excess and obsolete inventory through pro-active reviews and proposals.
