Senior Certification Engineer (m/f/d)

Mission

Reporting to the Certification Manager, you will implement the certification process for new products and maintain existing certifications in the main distribution system (MDS) product segment. You will be responsible for the:

• Management and development of the certification programs;
• Coordination and the prioritisation of certification projects worldwide with the support of local Hager relays to ensure that the respective laws, regulations, directives and standards are met, and products are safe etc.;
• Representation of the company and maintenance of the respective network with international certification bodies worldwide and oversee sub-contracted testing / certification at external testing facilities;
• Planning, overseeing and participation in plant inspections and audits;
• Coordination of standards-analyse, normative evolutions and action plans in order to maintain certifications and accreditations.

Profile

• University degree Bachelor/Master in electrical engineering with specialisation in energy technology or similar professional education with further training as a technician and many years of experience.
• With proven knowledge and experience in Electrical Engineering, qualified to, you should have significant experience in assembly product testing and project management and ideally in the field of certification.
• Knowledge of Standards for low voltage switchgear and controlgear assemblies, both single and three phase is essential.
• You are familiar with Windows tools as well as SAP, ITEM and databases. English and German is essential and French would be a plus.
• Your open-mindedness, customer focus, positive attitude, ability to analyse and synthesise, and planning with attention to detail skills will be an asset for this position.
