Start-up TEFACT and Hager Electro join forces

The Light + Building event in March 2018 marked the beginning of a partnership-based collaboration between the companies TEFACT GmbH and Hager Electro. TEFACT, with its unique VMG485 mounting rack, and Hager, the market leader in small distribution boards, make a strong team and guarantee easy installation plus high quality. Soon after the cooperation had been announced, Hager Electro presented TEFACT’s VMG485 at the “Sonepar Partnertreff” event at the Messe Wien Exhibition and Congress Center in Vienna on 26th and 27th April 2018.

The guiding principle of TEFACT, which was launched in November 2016, is “time is money”. Founders Wilhelm Mühlbacher and Patrick Cais provide simple, low-cost and – most importantly – time-saving solutions for tradespeople, particularly electricians. To this end, the company designed the VMG485 mounting rack for quick, easy, clean installation.

“Our success has confirmed that we’re on the right track. In our first year, we already attracted the attention of several large companies, which led to a partnership-based collaboration with the market leader in small distribution boards, Hager Electro GesmbH. We’re very proud of this,” explains Patrick Cais, CEO of TEFACT.

Robert Marzy, Business Development Manager at Hager Electro GesmbH (Austria), is full of praise for the planned cooperation and partnership with TEFACT: “Hager’s pre-installed Volta wall sleeves in the TEFACT VMG485, together with the various energy and multimedia add-on packages, mean even easier installation thanks to the high quality of the products.”

Discussions are currently being held with local electrical companies to find more distribution partners for the VMG485 and further increase its market presence in Austria.
