Young Talents Day in Poland 2019

What opportunities can working at Hager Group lead to? What does a typical working day look like? What is the culture like at the company?

At Hager Group’s Young Talents Day in Tychy in April, around 50 students were able to find out the answers to some of these questions. The event was run in collaboration with the Silesian University of Technology (Gliwice), Cracow University of Technology and AGH University of Science and Technology (also in Cracow). These three universities train engineers specialising in electronics and electricity, as well as electrical engineers. In other words, they focus on disciplines that are of particular interest to Hager Group.

In light of this, the programme, which was set up by Hager to help young talent, benefitted from appropriate funding. 20 colleagues from a range of departments organised workshops on topics such as balancing work and personal life, career opportunities, and jobs in laboratories and engineering. The day also featured a tour of the site and a group lunch, which gave participants the chance to ask members of the HR department about job and training opportunities. By the end of the day, one thing was certain: another Young Talents Day will soon be on the horizon.
