In the spirit of our RUN* principles a Sprint Innovation Challenge is launched to combat Corona virus. We will use the RUN* principle to inspire us to think out of the box on how our company can support externally the fight against the impact of the crisis.

Stronger together! By involving our company in this Challenge we will all, after this crisis, come out stronger. We can all get on board by thinking out of the box how we at Hager Group with our strong capabilities and technologies can provide urgent help for those who need it by way of useful products.

The Sprint Innovation Challenge is twofold:
1. How can our equipment, processes, technology, products, systems etc. be adapted to help fight Corona virus. It’s time to get out thinking caps on and get creative!
2. When the ideas are created, they are to be shared on an innovation platform. Share comments, enrich. A Top 10 will be chosen and actions put in place.

Stronger together!
Your company and country needs you! Let’s mobilise!

Out of the box questions to get us started.
● What opportunities, know-how & equipment do we have in-house to make and
supply essential products that could help fight Corona virus?
● How can we simply copy-and-paste existing products or adapt them easily.
● What machines or industrial processes do we have (plastics processing, manual
assembly, etc…) in place to produce this medical or other equipment that could
help?
● Can we use 3D printing, etc., to produce moulds, tools, production means, etc. to
rapidly prototype useful products?
● Do we have in stock anywhere protection equipment for medical staff (FFP masks,
latex gloves…).

How will the innovation platform work?
● Access given to you as selected managers who will following discussion with your
teams feed all ideas onto the platform.
● Ideas will be evaluated and projects chosen by the Hager Vorstand, sponsored by
CTO Ralph Fürderer.
● Feedback on results given via the platform.

Time line.
● Deadline for ideas on platform: 10th April
● Comments, improves, posts open until: 17th April
