Peter und Luise Hager Foundation
The Foundation was set up in 2010 and has since supported national and international projects in the fields of child development & education, arts & cultures, environmental protection, science & research as well as charitable activities.
The overall framework for all projects is formed by the desire to support competence and education in all areas.
Objectives and purpose
In developing these initiatives, the Foundation places great emphasis on the topical and spatial proximity to the Hager Group companies. This is the only way of ensuring a high level of expertise when selecting and implementing such projects.
“For us, it’s about giving some of the economic success of Hager Group back to society,” says Evi Hager, President of the Foundation Board. “Our family culture is shaped by values such as community spirit, humanity, solidarity and sustainability.” The name of the Foundation is also fitting: it is named after the parents of the two company founders, and therefore after the people whose values have most shaped and influenced Dr Oswald and Hermann Hager.
