HR Business Partner (m/w/d)

As HR Business Partner you actively contribute to reach the Group´s ambition, leveraging our corporate culture in a growing international organization. You are responsible for providing HR support to business leaders in order to faciliate the achievement of our business goals. Moreover as HR Business Partner you offer operational HR support to the local teams and you cooperate with our internal HR teams to ensure the delivery of the right level of HR services to the organization.


  • Be a partner to our (international) team of managers and employees on all HR related topics
  • Support managers in implementing a coherent people plan for the respective business area ensuring (HR) actions are aligned with the business strategy. Provide advice for managers in all labour and collective bargaining law and human resources issues
  • Implement HR guidelines and support group HR processes, such as staffing, annual compensation review, evaluation campaigns, strategic talent reviews, etc.
  • Ensure that the right people are in the right positions through both internal career and capabilities development and external staffing
  • Build a consistent collaboration between the works council, within the HR Function and Business Leaders to ensure the alignment of HR deliverables with achievable business expectations and the execution of group driven HR initiatives
  • Act as an internal consultan and coach on HR related topics and contribute to reinforce the culture of change with Hager 


Professional experience and knowledge

  • University degree in Business Management / HR / Psychology or comparable education
  • At least 5 years of working experience in the field of Project Management, HR Business Partnering on an international scale
  • Good knowledge of labor law with a focus on Germany and France, ideally experience with German Tariff Systems (Chemical and Metal Industry)
  • Fluent written and spoken English, knowledge of French is an advantage
  • Good skills in MS Office and SAP HR


  • Excellent strategic & business competence and understanding of internal procedures
  • Internal Consultancy  & acting as Change agent
  • Team orientation, empathy and assertiveness appropriate to the task
  • Strong social and intercultural competence, excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills
  • High level of commitment, time flexibility and willingness to travel
