Lead Embedded Software Developer

Mission:

As a part of our Tychy Engineering Department, you join a multi skilled team as Lead Software Developer. Your mission is to lead our software team in the development of electronics devices related to our Home and Building Automation products range. You will work on communicating devices as for example Shutters, Lightning, HVAC KNX TP Secured applications. 

Your responsibilities

As member of a multi-skilled project team, you are responsible to deliver Software Discipline Maturity according to the defined project milestone deadlines. You will be one of the angular stone between our local Software Team, Internal Project Team and External partners. You will have a strong role to play in the good management of partners for the projects we do in Buy & Resale or Co-development.  As such you are responsible to :

• Bring your expertise in Software Development as a part of Project Core Team and main interface with External
• Define and Review State Of Work regarding Software Activities for our external partnerships
• Define Software Development Plan
• Define Software Architecture, Backlog and Sprints content
• Work with Marketing to specify and commit requirements.
• Ensure that the Software developed is in line with requirements and internal policies (sustainable, cybersecurity…)
• Animate the Software team in terms of Project (Backlog, Bug review…) and Discipline (Common Processes, Tools…)  
• Support Engineering Product Leader to define project planning & workload regarding Software activities
• Design and code review of other team members
• Monitor Status and maturity of Software in Azure DevOps
• Contribute to Software Development

Your profile

• Master degree with Software speciality
• At least 5 years in Software Development
• First experience as Lead software developer will be really appreciated
• Skills in C,C++, RTOS, STM32
• Skills in GIT, ALM (Azure DevOps), CI,Unit Testing
• Knowledge of KNX standard is appreciated
• Knowledge of Scrum/Agile Methodologies
• English language skills ( B2/C1 )
• Pragmatic & Rigorous
• Strong Relational /communicative skills and Customer Focus
