Hager Group and Racing Club de Strasbourg celebrate the end of the 2018/2019 season!

To celebrate the end of the season, an exclusive match between the Hager Group and RCSA All Stars took place at the end of May 2019 at Stade de la Meinau in Strasbourg.

Hager Group has been one of the main partners of Racing Club de Strasbourg Alsace (RCSA) since Summer 2017. This second season of our partnership was another opportunity to organise a number of events for the Group’s employees focused around the success of the Strasburg-based football team.

Hager Group is the proud partner of one of the only clubs to have won the three major titles in France: the French National Championship, the Coupe de France and the French League Cup.

A friendly, sporting encounter between the All Stars

At the end of May 2019, a one-off match was arranged between the Hager Group All Stars and the RCSA All Stars at Stade de Meinau, Strasbourg, to celebrate the end of the season. After 90 minutes of suspense and excitement, it was the RCSA who came away victorious, scoring 10 goals to the Hager Group’s 7 goals.

Over 600 of the Group’s employees, accompanied by their families, were able to watch the football match and take part in the many activities organised. Those who attended had the bonus of being able to pose alongside the French League Cup trophy.

An outstanding victory and wonderful meetings of people

This season, the partnership featured the victory by the RCSA in the final of the BKT 2019 French League Cup, in which the Hager logo appeared on the shirts worn by the Strasbourg team.

To celebrate this victory, five RCSA players travelled to the Obernai site last April. Bringing the trophy with them, Stefan Mitrović, Dimitri Lienard, Anthony Gonçalves, Kenny Lala and Ibrahima Sissoko were welcomed with cheers and flags by the Hager Group’s employees (and supporters).The players came to meet with Hager Forum employees and to visit the production lines in the factories.

This was also an opportunity to talk about the success of the partnership that began almost two years ago between Hager Group and the RCSA.
